Two-for-One

Make 2 cards at the same time with this fast card layout.

This card was fun to make and, as you can imagine, will look different depending on which paper you use and what sentiment you choose. The pieces of DSP are small enough that you probably have scraps this size. Add some matching ribbon and embellishments (if you want) and BOOM – you’ve got a card. I think it’s worth making 2 at a time because cutting the paper as shown gives you enough pieces for 2 cards. But if you really just want to make one, you’ll only need 4 pieces of coordinating DSP, in 4 patterns.

You can see the full tutorial below. But here is a list of what you’ll need to make these 2 cards as shown:

  • Gorgeous Grape card stock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score and fold at 4 1/4″
  • Crumb Cake card stock 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score and fold at 5 1/2″
  • Perennial Lavender DSP pattern 1 (with 2 sides that you like) 4″ x 5 1/4″. (item 162593)
  • Perennial Lavender DSP pattern 2 (with 2 sides that you like) 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • white card stock, for inside panel 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • 10″-12″ Gorgeous Grape ribbon. (retired)
  • 10″-12″ burlap ribbon (item 160386)
  • Purple Fine shimmer gems (item 162611)
  • Adhesive & Stampin’ Dimensionals

By the way, we also made this card at February Stamp Club, only with the Bee Mine DSP. Awe, so cute!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
