Even though it’s September, it’s still summer! In the old days, the kids did not go back to school until after Labor Day. Of course that has changed and nearly everyone returns in August. But September will always still be summer to me! Plus, being empty-nesters means we actually stretch that summertime feeling well into October. It’s not time to put the pool toys away yet!
This card was a fast and easy one that was featured today on my Simply Saturday series in YouTube. You can see the tutorial below. To make this card you’ll need:
- Azure Afternoon card stock 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score and fold at 5 1/2″
- DSP 4″ x 5 1/4″
- White card stock scrap, at least 3″ x 3″
- Azure Afternoon scrap, at least 3/4″ x 4″
With some quick stamping and some coloring (I used Stampin’ Blends: Pool Party, DAffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Azure Afternoon and Tahitian Tide) you can make this card in minutes. I love how it feels like a late summer sunset.
Thanks for stopping by! Hugs & Happy Stamping!
