Here is a quick review of the 3 cards we made in Stamp Club this month.
The stamp set that was featured remains a favorite of mine. It is called Nothing’s Better Than and it has some of our favorite “must haves” in life: Coffee, Chocolate, and Cookies – (also represented is an adorable cocktail glass <wink wink>).
This first card is an Easel Card. The base is designed with a fold and a “kickstand” so that the card can be propped open and sit up ever-so-cute on a desk or tabletop.
The base is Tahitian Tide, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Scored at 4 1/4″ and 2 1/8″. The rectangles are from Stitched Rectangle Dies (Tahitian Tide and Sweet Sorbet). The cups are stamped with black outlines and filled in with Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet inks.
Card 2 is a variation of a coffee card that I have made. This time it features cookies.
And Card 3 is this unique look on the raised brick background. It looks like its a wall in a coffee shop! Blender Brushes were used to make a “spotlight of blue” on the wall.
