We created 3 projects this month. The first is this adorable Tent Box. Shout out to Sam at Pootles.co.uk which is where I first saw a tent box, and CASED the one she made recently. Of course it could be made with any DSP of your choice and for any occasion, but we made this one using the SNAIL MAIL DSP (which is retiring in June – don’t wait – order today) and had 2 color schemes. One with a Real Red box, and the other made from Bermuda Bay.
The triangle shaped box slides out of the tent and is large enough to hold a gift-card, small candy or other small treats. Find a list of all materials at end of post.
The next project we created was this Slim Line Card. I promised we would continue making Slim Line Cards at Stamp Club this year, so here was a fun new bundle to try out. The Flowers of Friendship Bundle makes its appearance in the new Annual Catalog 2021-2022 which launched on May 2. This Bundle is a stamp set and coordinating punch. You always save 10% when you purchase a Bundle compared to buying the 2 items individually.
You can see that we used the 5 new In Colors for 2021: Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. These colors are lovely and will surely grow on you as you begin to use them. Notice the beautiful and soft ribbon knot in the corner. This new ribbon is Fresh Freesia, and is also offered in the other 4 colors.
The third project we made was an Easel Card. I’ve been wanting to make some of these for a few weeks now, and finally got to do it, and teach it to the Stamp Club members. It could be a favorite card design because it is not hard, can be for any occasion, makes a “wow” impression for the recipient. The card fold flats for mailing, but when it is opened, it can prop up against the raised area inside, and sit, as shown, like an easel. So stinkin’ cute!
The products used include the Sweet Strawberry Bundle (stamp set and punch), some adorable (but retired DSP from SAB 2021), Poppy Parade and Garden Green inks and more. My morning group made the Strawberry version of the card, but due to technical issues, I changed the project for the evening stampers and this is the Easel Card they made…
Items featured are Dragonfly Garden Bundle (stamp set and punch), Dandy Garden DSP (retired) Misty Moonlight cardstock, Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee ink colors. I thought I was in love with the Strawberry card, but now this one might be my fav!
