Wow! This month we made 2 cards with the same fun-fold but with different stamp sets. It was really fun to master this card by doing the steps 2 times. This fun-fold card gives you 5 front panels to really show off your favorite DSP. The first card, shown below, was made with the Pansy Patch Bundle https://www.stampinup.com/products/pansy-patch-bundle-(english)?demoid=1434) and also the Pansy Petals DSP https://www.stampinup.com/products/pansy-petals-designer-series-paper?demoid=1434
Polished Pink cardstock base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Scored at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″, 6″. Pansy Petals DSP for the background panels : 2″ x 5 1/4″, 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (2), 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ (2) For the focal image: 4″ x 2 1/4″ cardstock & 3 3/4″ x 2″ of basic white cardstock. Use basic white scraps for your stamped/die-cut images. Ink colors used: Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Basic Black. Embellishments: Fresh Freesia ribbon, Pastel Pearls, and Stampin’ Dimensionals. *Optional, add a center panel on the back of the card in basic white 2″ x 5 1/4″ to provide a space to stamp/write a message.
The second card, shown below, was made with the Plentiful Plants Bundle https://www.stampinup.com/products/plentiful-plants-bundle-(english)?demoid=1434 and the Bloom Where you’re Planted DSP https://www.stampinup.com/products/bloom-where-you-re-planted-designer-series-paper?demoid=1434
Evening Evergreen cardstock base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Scored at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″, 6″. Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP for the background panels : 2″ x 5 1/4″, 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (2), 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ (2) For the focal image: 4″ x 2 1/4″ cardstock & 3 3/4″ x 2″ of basic white cardstock. Use basic white scraps for your stamped/die-cut images. Ink colors used: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Gray Granite. Embellishments: Linen Thread and Stampin’ Dimensionals. *Optional, add a center panel on the back of the card in basic white 2″ x 5 1/4″ to provide a space to stamp/write a message.
For the third card, we used a new item called Macrame 3D Embossing Folder. https://www.stampinup.com/products/macrame-3d-embossing-folder?demoid=1434. This beauty creates a lovely, chunky texture and it served as a backdrop to the potted plants from Plentiful Plants Bundle.
Basic Gray cardstock base 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″. For textured panels, use a piece of Basic Gray yardstick 3 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ to run through embossing machine with the Macarame 3D embossing folder. Then cut that piece into (2) 1″ pieces and (3) 3/4″ pieces. Secure these to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Scraps of basic white carsick and Mossy Meadow yardstick where used for the potted plants along with Plentiful Plants dies. Ink colors used: Soft Succulent, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot, Shaded Spruce. Embellishments: Genial Gems
