Quick card and a HACK

You’re going to love this card design and want to CASE it I’m sure! As I was making card #2 and #3, I realized that I needed to create a HACK to make the card together even faster. Take a look and then be sure to watch the video.

So this card is one that features the DSP. You could use nearly any paper and for any occasion. At the bottom of the post, you’ll see some more of the ones I made. I chose Inked Botanicals DSP for these examples. I love the colors of Lost Lagoon and Calypso Coral together! To make this card you’ll need:

  • Lost Lagoon card stock base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Score and fold at 4 1/4″
  • 2 pieces basic white card stock (or vanilla if better suited to your DSP). 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • 4 pieces of DSP, each one 1 7/8″ x 2 1/2″
  • Embellishments of your choice

The HACK that I found helpful is using a template to fold the corners down of each piece of DSP. This saves you from having to measure, mark, score and fold EACH piece. WOW! What a time saver! I’d love for you to see how this card is made, and how the HACK really helps. It’s featured on my YouTube channels as episode 84 of the series Simply Saturday. You can go to YouTube or simply watch it below.

Here are a few others I made using the same design and steps…
