Today’s post features a couple different projects that I’ve made lately, all with a coffee theme. Or more precisely, specialty coffee drinks like cappuccino and latte. This stamp/die bundle is amazing and I’m finding more and more projects to make. Combined with the adorable DSP called A Little Latte, the possibilities are endless! Let’s take a look.
This first card was made for Simply Saturday (my weekly series on YouTube). It will air on Saturday May 25.https://youtu.be/r3sjjefik3U
The card features a peek-a-boo window, where the sentiment shows through. The video clearly shows how to get a punch positioned there on the paper is possible, (when at first thought to be impossible). To make the card on the right, I simply cut out the mug images from a sheet of DSP. To make the card on the left, you’ll need:
- Pecan Pie card stock for base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- A Little Latte DSP: 10 1/2″ x 4″. Fold at the middle
- White card stock panel for inside: 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- white card stock scraps for stamping and die cutting the Mug and the coffee beans
- Natural Polka Dot Trim (2), about 4″ long
- Heartfelt Hexagon Punch
- Lost Lagoon ink pad
- Early Espresso ink pad
- Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends
- Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends
- Stampin’ Seal+
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue
- Stampin Dimensionals
The next card is just one I made on my own, not for a class, Club or video. I loooove the background on the Pecan Pie card stock, made with blender brushes.
You simply MUST watch the card tutorial for this card. There are a few fabulous tricks and techniques that you will want to learn (or be reminded of)! The Youtube tutorial is below. My favorite part of this card is the background, created with stamps and then with Blending Brushes. I do love the “magic” of stamping and getting a reverse image of the mug as well.
Continuing on with our coffee/latte theme, we made a darling Corner Bookmark at Stamp Club this month (May 2024). One is pictured below, with the 2 cups. The die cuts that are part of this bundle are amazing. So we die cut 2 cups (with their little sliver of coffee). The second bookmark is slightly different and just features a coffee mug that is fussy-cut straight from the DSP. To see this tutorial on YouTube, visit:https://youtu.be/-ZUIywyydVc
On YouTube, you can also view this tutorial showing many other Corner Bookmarks. https://youtu.be/3r8VKDb92wo
Well, I’m off to stamp more coffee themed projects! I hope you are inspired and ready to try these amazing products. To purchase the stamps, dies, DSP, ink and more, visit my online store: https://www.stampinup.com/?demoid=1434
