Bee Mine card

I cannot wait to make more and more things with this Suite of products. I’m simply in love with the Bee My Valentine Bundle and coordinating Bee Mine 12 x 12 DSP. And don’t get me started on the matching embellishments!! This card is featured as episode 97 of my YouTube series called Simply Saturday (a new episode each Saturday morning).

I chose my DSP pieces to begin with: he honeycomb print and the adorable bees holding flowers. I checked the colors of the DSP and selected a coordinating card stock. I used Sweet Sorbet and did so for each card stock and ink element, just to keep it fast and easy. How do you like the Deckled Circles dies? They are a new addition to my collection and I already am a big fan. I think every crafter needs to have these as they are super versatile and you get so many sizes!

There is a coordinating punch that goes with this stamp set, that I did not use today, but you’ll see it come up in future projects. For this card you’ll need:

  • Sweet Sorbet card stock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Score and fold at 4 1/4″
  • Sweet Sorbet card stock 1 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • DSP (print 1) 4″ x 5 1/4″. This is the #2 guide, if using my Easy Layering Guides
  • DPS (print 2) 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. (I also made some cards where this layer is slightly larger at 1 5/8″ x 1 3/8″)
  • scraps of Basic White and Sweet Sorbet card stocks for die cutting
